Why Women’s Circles Matter In a world where we are constantly “connected” through screens, many women feel deeply alone. We scroll, we message, we present curated versions of ourselve but something in us still longs for real connection. To be seen. To be heard. To be accepted — exactly as we are

About Change of Course- Womens Circles

Why womens Circles Matter

For highly sensitive, empathic and neurodiverse women, this longing can feel even stronger. Many have spent years:

  • masking who they are
  • overthinking their words
  • prioritising others’ needs
  • or feeling “too much” or “not enough”

A women’s circle offers something different.

A Space to Simply Be

This is not a space to perform, impress, or have it all together.

It is a space where:

  • you can show up as you are . even if you feel messy, unsure or quiet
  • you are never pressured to share more than you want to
  • you are listened to without interruption, fixing, or judgement

There is something deeply regulating about being witnessed by others who understand, without the burden of needing to explain yourself.

A Place to Rest and Reconnect

Many women come to circle feeling:

  • overwhelmed
  • emotionally exhausted
  • disconnected from themselves

Circle becomes a place to:

slow down

  • reconnect with your inner voice
  • make space for your needs
  • rather than pushing through life alone, you are supported in a shared and compassionate space.

The Power of Being Together

When women gather with intention, something gentle but powerful happens. We begin to realise:

  • “I’m not the only one who feels this way.”
  • “There’s nothing wrong with me.”
  • “Maybe I can trust myself a little more.”

Instead of feeling isolated in our thoughts, we experience connection, validation and support. For many women, this alone can be incredibly healing.

Is This for You?

You may feel drawn to a women’s circle if you are looking for:

  • A calm, supportive space where you can be yourself
  • Connection with like-minded women who “get it”
  • A break from pressure, expectations and constant doing
  • Support navigating emotions, relationships, or life transitions
  • A way to rebuild trust in yourself and your inner voice

What Happens in a Circle?

Each session is guided with care and structure so you can feel safe and grounded.

Typically, we begin with a gentle check-in, where each woman is invited (but never required) to share what is present or being experienced for her. While someone is speaking:

  • she is given full, respectful attention
  • there is no interruption
  • no advice-giving unless invited

This creates a space where your voice matters and where silence is also welcome. There may also be:

  • reflective prompts
  • grounding practices
  • gentle rituals or moments of stillness

A Gentle Invitation

You don’t need to have the “right words.” (because there aren't any)

You don’t need to be ready or confident.

You are welcome here exactly as you are.
